I’m focused on leadership, change and effective communication. I’m also WYSIWYG and ENTP. Somewhat restless too, constantly seeking boxes to think outside of. And determined not to take life too seriously.
My passions include -
- Seeing things done right – ingrained into me by my father and time with some top ad agencies
- Chelsea – from my boyhood and not just due to the Russian millions
- Popularist tv – which to me is Gavin and Stacey rather than Celebrity Big Brother
- Innovation – because the most obvious may not be the best way
And, of course, my wife Rosie, our five ‘grown up’ children and two new grandkids.
My personal interests
I am especially energised by communication, culture, arm-chair sports, The Y Course, Almeria in Spain, tapas, family, and travel.
My favourite films
The films I could watch again and again include – House of Wind and Fog, The Bucket List, Minority Report, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, Shawshank Redemption, Little Miss Sunshine.
My favourite books
The books that have inspired me include – The Curious Incident of the Dead Dog in the Night – Mark Haddon, The Time Traveller’s Wife – Audrey Niffenegger, Made to Stick – Dan and Chip Heath, The Bible, Crossbearer – Joe Eszterhas, The Chelsea Miscellany – Clive Batty, Stupid White Men – Michael Moore.
My favourite music
The stuff that tingles my ears, and reveals my age, includes – The Eagles, Eric Clapton, Big and Rich, Faith Hill, Willie Nelson, Alison Krauss, Gretchen Peters, Garth Brooks, Zac Brown Band
I am a prison missioner here in the States and would like very much to do the Y-Course in prison. I tried with the vcr years ago and discovered your videos don’t work here on our vcrs. I am hoping that dvds do better.

Tom – great news and I am sure our DVDs will work just fine for you.
God bless you in your important work and do let us know how it all works out. Peter
