A new year calls for a serious launch into a blog – instead of the stop and start of the past few years. Lots of good intentions that had the promise of a firework display and as much lasting value.
With me having a new role in the context of the 2012 games, there should be no shortage of inspiration and content. But as for a consistant theme, that will be another story. Anyone willing to track my output will find anything ranging from insite, comment, wimsey and insight – on anything from leadership to communication, the state of the world to applying faith to life.
Meanwhile, just caught up – better late than never – with Cast Away, the Tom Hanks classic. One man on an island for four years with only a volly ball called Wilson for company. Brilliant and a fine window on the human condition at its best.
